Meet Kaitlin Soule

LMFT and Founder of Bay Area Modern Therapy

  • Even as a therapist, like many moms, Kaitlin has often found herself drowning under the invisible load of motherhood. Eye opening experiences like pregnancy loss, postpartum struggle, raising three children during a global pandemic while trying to run a business, and getting diagnosed with Anxiety and ADHD as an adult have inspired Kaitlin to combine her personal and clinical expertise to help women rewrite and reclaim their own life stories.

Kaitlin wrote A Little Less of a Hot Mess: The Modern Mom's Guide to Growth and Evolution, to invite women to reclaim their identity with a practical framework called imperfect growth and evolution™. In efforts to bring dialogue around mental health and growth to everyday women, Kaitlin hosts a podcast called, “A little Less of A Hot Mess: Off The Couch Conversation With A Therapist.”

As a previous TV Producer and Story-Teller, Kaitlin enjoys bringing her worlds together by contributing to the media, writing, and speaking on topics of mental health and parenting. Kaitlin has been published in various news publications and is a frequent contributor to the Bay Area’s ABC7, KRON 4 LIVE , and FOX/KTVU.

In my practice, I meet you where you are. My approach is grounded in empathy and tailored to your unique experiences and needs. I specialize in trauma and relationship counseling, applying a range of techniques including Somatic practices, Mindfulness, EMDR, the Gottman Method and EFT to support your journey.
