Modern CBT therapy for women and parents who want to heal, grow and make lasting change…

We believe that “good” therapy should help you get the tools, skills, and confidence needed to live a life that feels full- a life that is led by YOU instead of your anxiety, trauma, or current life struggle.

ADHD Therapy for Women…

If your navigating a later in life ADHD diagnosis (like me) or you’re simply finally ready to consider how ADHD is impacting your sense of self, career, social life, parenting, and relationships - you’re in the right place! ADHD is not just something I have a clinical certification in treating, but it’s something I know (all to well) and am committed to helping change the narrative around. Living with ADHD can be a double-edge sword, and if you’re like me you did “just fine” masking, pushing through, and burning the candle at both ends…until you just couldn’t anymore. Adulthood and Motherhood is a common time for women to discover their ADHD. While many of us feel grief and frustration around the truth that it wasn’t detected earlier, finding out now gives us the opportunity to embrace ourselves as we are, learn to work with our brains and many talents (instead of against them), stop giving all of our energy to the people and places, and start building a life that feels like our own!

Anxiety Therapy

The worst thing about living with anxiety is that it makes our world get smaller and smaller! Whether it’s keeping us from being the kind of person, partner, friend, or parent we want to be, anxiety can feel like an unwelcome house guest, there to wreak havoc on our life. The good news is, anxiety is HIGHLY treatable and you do not have to continue to suffer under it’s rigidity and rules. Whether you struggle with Generalized Anxiety, Social Anxiety, Health Anxiety, Performance Anxiety, or OCD- we have the knowledge, clinical experience, and compassion to help you feel better!

Parent Coaching

Navigating parenthood (no matter the stage you're in) has never been harder...modern parents are innodated with information, short on time, overwhelmed, AND deeply committed to raising good and emotionally intelligent humans. Parenting is hard, no matter how you cut it (we know because we are parents too). When our children are deeply feeling, anxious, neurodiverse, or moving through difficult phases or life transitions parenting feels even harder! Using a mix of psychoeducation aroud childhood development, CBT, and the Good Inside Approach to parenting we can help you parent your child in a way that honors both your child and the parent/parents you want to be.

Therapy for Moms

Early parenthood is when we ask big questions like: " how much space can I take up in our family?", "how do I manage triggers from my childhood and family of origin?", and " will my partner and I ever adjust to this new norm?" We've been there too, and it's our honor to create a safe place for new moms and parents to process changes in their relationships, time, career, and body, that come with a baby.

Therapy Intensives

Therapy intensive are designed for individuals or couples who want to do a deep dive into an issue that continues to surface in their life. These longer form sessions (90 minutes or 2-3 hours) were born out of the understanding that sometimes the traditional 50 minutes a week therapy format doesn’t feel like enough time to really dig into an issue, or develop the perspective and skills needed to make impactful change! This format was also developed for people who are unable to commit to weekly therapy due to scheduling constraints, but can commit to one longer form session to get the help/guidance they need.

    • Anxiety (social anxiety, panic attacks, health anxiety, postpartum anxiety, etc)

    • ERP for OCD (for people who already have a diagnosis and want to do the work of exposure therapy to cope better for symptoms of OCD).

    • PTSD/Trauma Session (for people who are struggling to make change through weekly therapy and want to take a deeper dive into their trauma so they can move towards healing, change, and symptom reduction. We can utilize EMDR or Cognitive Processing Therapy).

    • Relational Issues (for individuals and couples who have a specific issue they want to work through...great for people in the midst of a big life change, needing to make an important decision, or wanting relationship support through a difficult season).

  • We do not bill insurance directly. However, you may be able to get reimbursed by your insurance provider. Call your provider and ask if your policy has a mental health benefit for out-of-network providers.

  • We accept cash, checks, and credit cards.  You can also pay using Stripe, before or after a session.

  • Visit our contact page or call us at (707) 354-6907, and we will contact you to set up a short phone call before our session. The first 1-2 sessions are spent moving through an assessment, setting goals, and creating a treatment plan. Then… the work (read: FUN!) begins!

  • We believe that effective therapy, especially when working on specific mental health issues, should be active, directive, helpful, and fairly brief (12-16 sessions). Some people use therapy as a tool to work through life struggles, or to get coaching or a different perspective on relationships. That kind of therapy can take as short or as long as you want it to!
